TV favourite Ruth Langsford has shared a health update with her followers after a “nasty” illness forced her to pull out of a live presenting gig.
With her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes in hospital, Ruth has been suffering health woes of her own. Earlier this week, she was forced to pull out of a slot on QVC, where she sells her own clothing range.
Now she’s opened up about how she’s feeling. It comes after ex Eamonn was forced to call an ambulance after a fall at home.
Ruth Langsford on the mend after ‘nasty’ illness
Earlier this week, Ruth revealed she was too poorly to present her segment on shopping channel QVC.
On Thursday (April 30), Ruth shared: “I’ve got a horrible tummy bug so unfortunately can’t do my show @qvcuk tonight. Thankfully the wonderful @melissahardystyle is stepping in for me so I hope you can join her. Some lovely new pieces launching!”
Earlier today (May 3), after a few days resting and recovering, the star revealed that she’s on the mend.
Posting a video of a porridge pot, berries and granola on her Instagram Stories, Ruth looked to have her appetite back. She shared: “Getting some goodness in after a few days with a nasty tummy bug.”
In her next story, Ruth shared that she’d been sent flowers. “Well these brightened my day,” she said. “So beautiful and smell amazing!”
