The first run of her ITV2 fly on the wall series drew in huge interest. So it is no surprise she is back for more.
So when does The Princess Diaries return? The wait is almost over!
The Princess Diaries: What happens in series 2?
ITV confirmed at the end of last year that The Princess Diaries would be returning for a second series.
The recommission followed strong viewing figures from series 1, which clocked up 3.9 million streams.
Before that, Princess had mainly appeared on the sidelines of shows featuring her mum Katie Price or her dad Peter Andre.
The first series changed that.
Princess took centre stage and viewers saw her learning to drive with Peter before taking her test.
She also focused on building her brand as an influencer.
That included stepping onto the runway for her first fashion show in Ibiza, where nerves were clear to see.
Katie appeared only via video call, while the show also followed the lead up to Princess turning 18.
She spoke openly about her childhood too.
Series 2 promises more insight into her fashion and beauty ambitions.
It will also capture her growing independence now she has her driving licence.
Will Peter Andre star in series 2?
Peter Andre and his wife Emily have decided not to feature in series 2.
The aim is to keep the spotlight firmly on Princess.
Her brother Junior will still appear.
Viewers will also meet her friend Heidi Katona. Heidi is the daughter of Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona and the girls have been close since they were young.
Princess has said she plans to be even more open this time.
She explained: “I’m used to the cameras following me around now, and nothing will be guarded or held back, because there’s nothing that I need to hide.”
When does the new series start?
ITV has not formally announced the launch date for series 2.
However, the news slipped out on This Morning.
Princess appeared alongside Junior on the daytime show and a banner on screen revealed the details.
It read: “Princess Diaries, Sunday 8th March 9pm ITV2 & ITVX.”
So that settles it. The new series begins on Sunday March 8 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
