Amy's 'heartbroken' over Curtis betrayal

Love Islander Amy Hart is heartbroken after Curtis Pritchard admitted his doubts about their relationship and now her mum has spoken out to support her.

Amy’s mother Sue Hart revealed her upset after the Love Island star confessed she has fallen in love with Curtis, as he revealed he isn’t completely happy with Amy and his head was turned by newcomer Jourdan Raine.

Sue told This Morning‘s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that her daughter has “fallen in love and been heartbroken in one day.”

She appeared on the ITV show alongside Amy’s dad Ian.

Their appearance comes after Curtis, 23, shocked the nation by admitting his head had been turned, after being solid with Amy, 26, since the show began five weeks ago.

Amy’s mum revealed the family haven’t been able to watch as Curtis voiced his doubts about the romance.

He then decided to stay coupled up with Amy after Jourdan didn’t return his advances.

Sue said: “I haven’t really been able to watch Curtis talking to Jourdan or talking about Amy. I’ve been fast-forwarding those bits.

“She’s never had a serious relationship and suddenly she’s met this guy, she really likes him.

“In one single day she’s admitted she’s fallen in love with him, she’s fallen in love and been heartbroken in one day.”

Sue added that she would like to be able to go into the villa to give her daughter a massive hug.

Last night’s episode saw Amy admit to the other girls that she loves Curtis, unaware that he was thinking of recoupling with someone else in the main villa.

After Amy returned from Casa Amor they recoupled but she looked shocked when Curtis whispered to her: “We need to talk.”

A preview from tonight’s show revealed a distraught Amy in a heated discussion with Curtis, as she tells him: “I was coming back here to tell you I love you.”
