We’ve all been through slightly dodgy fashion moments in our lives, and Little Mix are no exception.
The band have spoken out about their look when they started out on The X Factor back in 2011, with Jesy Nelson branding their style: “Cheap and tacky.”
Speaking on This Morning as part of a fashion and beauty Q&A, the group – made up of Jesy, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards – laughed about their makeup choices over the years.
Speaking about starting out, Perrie revealed: “We went from really young, fresh girls – not really wearing much makeup, maybe a little bit of foundation on the lip when it was in – to then being really heavy and looking way older. We looked way beyond our years!”
Jesy interrupted to add: “Very cheap and tacky!” Perrie scolded her, saying: “Jes! It was the style back then!”
She continued: “We just felt more secure with lots and lots of makeup on.
