Jeremy Kyle will recall how he feared the worst following a cancer diagnosis as he makes his return to ITV tonight (Tuesday April 1).
The former host of The Jeremy Kyle Show will open up about his “terrifying” ordeal on Kate Garraway’s Life Stories, having not featured on the channel since his daytime talk show was axed in the days following the death of former guest Steve Dymond in May 2019.
According to reports, 59-year-old Jeremy indicates in his telly chat with Kate Garraway that the controversial series that bore his name will not return to TV screens.
But he also reflects on his gratitude for those who cared for him during his encounter with testicular cancer as he anxiously awaited news as to whether the condition had spread.
Jeremy Kyle on cancer diagnosis
The Sun reports presenter Jeremy tells of his emotional response to being informed he had cancer. It is said he cried in the arms of his doctor before an op to remove a testicle.
The father-of-six apparently cancelled his first appointment with a doctor. But he then received a diagnosis just before Christmas in 2012, before undergoing surgery the following day.

Jeremy is reported to reveal: “I got to the hospital and I was on my own. I remember walking down this corridor and this huge bloke opened the door.
