Coronation Street legend Julia Haworth has swapped her acting career for a new profession.
The actress played hapless Claire Peacock in the ITV soap eight years between 2003 and 2011.
But now she has opted to go into teaching and help the next generation of performing talent develop their skills.
She is currently taking a teaching qualification at the University of Bolton via Bolton College.
Julia, who has been a working actress for more than 25 years, has been getting real-world experience of teaching as part of the course.

She has been helping performing arts students at Bolton College with her skills.
