They’re both expecting babies this September, and Giovanna Fletcher pointed out how different her baby bump looks compared to Christine Lampard’s on today’s Lorraine.
The author is carrying her third child with her popstar husband, Tom, while Christine is expecting her first with her retired footballer husband Frank.
“I think we are days away, our due dates, so it just goes to show how different bodies deal with pregnancy and change and adapt,” Giovanna said to Christine on Wednesday’s Lorraine, where the presenter is standing in for the usual host.
“I find it amazing seeing different people at different stages or at the same week,” she added.
Christine said she envied the creative way the couple announced their pregnancy after they shared a clip of the family building a snowman. They then lined-up with the scan of their new baby pinned to the snowman’s belly.
“You have the most fantastic way of telling the world things. I just told everybody but you come up with these wonderful, inventive things to put on Instagram,” Christine told them.
Tom admitted it was a spur of the moment thing when they saw it was snowing.
