Celebrity Bear Hunt has just dropped on Netflix, boasting eight episodes that see 12 brave celebs face hair-raising survival challenges in a bid to outrun Bear Grylls.
Hosted by Holly Willoughby, the show sees a string of familiar faces navigate living in the Costa Rican wilderness, where they share a large open-air home and a communal sleeping space and fulfil challenges in hopes to avoid being dropped in Bearâs terrifying bear pit.
In episode two, Lottie and her fellow contestants discussed some of the biggest challenges they have faced in their personal lives, whilst gathered around a table in their villa.
It was here that Lottie shared her story when asked by tennis star Boris Becker: âWhat were you rehabbing for?â
Lottie responded: âDrugs and depression.â

She continued: âYou become quite numb. I didnât feel anything, I didnât care pretty much if I lived or died. I wouldâve run into the ground and my mum said: âYou need to go to rehab.â It made me feel better but it didnât really work.â

TV star Steph McGovern then asked Lottie about what did work for her recovery.
Growing emotional and hinting at a relapse, Lottie admitted: âNothing. Iâm not going to lie to you guys, before coming in here, I was about to go to rehab again.â
Lottie then burst into tears and stated: âI feel like Iâm getting emotional.â As she broke down, Lottie was comforted with hugs from The Saturdays Una Healy and Strictly Come Dancingâs Shirley Ballas.
âI want to prove to myself that I can do thisâ
Speaking to the camera, Lottie went on to say she has previously âcome down hardâ on herself for making mistakes when she was younger.
âI think itâs taught me that I need to not punish myself. Most people make mistakes. Itâs actually okay,â she said.
âI want to prove to myself that I can do this,â she told the rest of her fellow contestants. Danny Cipriani reassured Lottie that she isnât her mistakes, with Una also gushing: âYouâre so lovely to be around.â Shirley chimed in: âIâm adopting you!â
Lottie previously revealed she had a âreally badâ cocaine addiction in a TikTok clip shared in 2022.
Speaking to her followers at the time, Lottie said: âWhen people ask why Iâm in rehab,â before lip-syncing to someone saying: âI have a really bad addiction to coke.â
Earlier this year, Lottie shared another candid chat discussing her struggles. She told her fans: âI have struggled so much since I was young with depression, anxiety and problems with addiction and becoming a model and being in that industry made it very difficult for me not to feel that way and just succumb to drugs and alcohol whenever I felt sad.â
