Things are set to go from bad to worse for Emmerdale’s Nicola next week when she is forced to put her marriage worries to one side when she gets a worrying phone call…

And, after being thrown out of the family home, Nicola is starting to wonder if Jimmy will ever forgive her for the scheme that she was planning with Robert Sugden.

It was revealed recently that Graham will be planning revenge on the pair for their plan to fleece him out of the haulage firm – but with Jimmy also on the warpath, it looks like things couldn’t get much worse for Nicola.
As both Jimmy and Nicola wallow in their own self pity, the gloomy pair are reminded of what is important when the school calls with some bad news.
Jimmy misses the call from Elliot’s teacher because he is screening his calls to avoid Nicola. But when the school then call Nicola, she answers, and is shocked to hear that Elliot has gone missing.
Terrified about what might have happened, Nicola races to find him.
Thankfully she doesn’t have to search for long and finds him outside on the street. She questions him about his behaviour, and is heartbroken when he reveals he’s upset about her moving out.
The pair share a heart-to-heart where Nicola promises Elliot that she will always be his mum no matter what happens, and thankfully her step-son seems happier after their chat.
Realising that nothing is as important as family, Nicola finds her fight again and heads over to see Jimmy again, determined to fight for her marriage.

With the drama of what happened with Elliot still fresh in his mind, will Jimmy find it in himself to forgive his wife?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
