Roy Cropper is going to be swindled by Jude Appleton in Coronation Street.
The cafe owner has been left feeling a debt of gratitude to Jude after he lied about saving his life.
Viewers know it was Dr Ali Neeson who came to Roy’s rescue after he suffered an allergic reaction.
But with Jude getting praise for saving Roy’s life after he suffered a bee sting and collapsed, he continued the lie and now he’s going to take it even further and take money from Roy.
As it becomes increasingly clear that Jude’s plan to become a paramedic is looking increasingly impossible, he refuses to accept it.

He first signs up for Yasmeen Nazir’s first aid course but it goes disastrously wrong.
When Yasmeen cuts her finger in the teeniest of ways, Jude’s horror at the tiny drop of blood sees him faint.
But instead of accepting this and moving on, he tells his estranged wife Angie that the course went perfectly.
And after he laments the cost of training to be a paramedic publicly, Jude gets offered a lifeline from a grateful Roy.
