Coronation Street has insisted Adam Barlow will return to the cobbles.
Fans were devastated when the lawyer left the Street on Friday night but after an outcry from viewers about his exit, the soap has revealed he will definitely be back.

Replying to a concerned fan on Twitter they wrote: “He’s only going away for a little bit – we’ll see Adam again soon x.”
The lawyer decided to go travelling for a few months “at least” after the drama with Sarah Platt and their developing feelings to one and other.
It was all exposed after a furious Seb Franklin lashed out at Gary for firing him and told him the truth about what happened between Adam and Sarah last week.
