Gary Windass is going to be kidnapped and tortured in Coronation Street.
The ex builder has been dumped by his girlfriend Sarah Platt, lost his business when Eilneen Grimshaw had enough and sold the builders’ yard and his dignity after getting in trouble with loan shark Rick Neelan.
But his life is set to take an even worse turn when evil villain Rick returns for revenge.
A shocking trailer for the ITV soap’s late night week has revealed how Gary will be viciously attacked by the loan shark and his henchmen.
In the scenes Gary can be seen chained up as Rick and his head henchwoman Sharon attack him.

He is also sprayed with flammable liquid by Rick, with the horrifying suggestion that he’s going to be set alight and brutally murdered.
The explosive episodes will play out a week on Monday as the soap moves to 9pm each night for Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finals week.
Soap bosses have promised the identity of Rana Habeeb’s killer will also be revealed that week with Gary being one of the main suspects.
