Coronation Street fans are relieved after a missing child finally returned to the cobbles.
Jake Windass hasn’t been seen in months either with or without his parents Izzy Armstrong or Gary Windass but last night he finally returned to the cobbles.
Machinist Izzy needed Gary to look after Jake while she was working but killer Gary wasn’t keen.
He lost his temper with the lad after pirate-obsessed Jake did an impression of his favourite character, telling his dad: “Dead men tell no tales.”
This obviously hit a bit of a nerve with Gary who has only just bludgeoned loan shark Rick Neelan to death with a rock in Weatherfield woods.

Gripping Jake angrily, Gary told him: “You don’t joke about that thing, you understand me?”
Unfortunately for Gary, his ex-girlfriend Sarah Platt and her new boyfriend Adam Barlow witnessed his aggressive behaviour towards Jake.
Sarah looked uncomfortable as Gary then apologised for hurting her when he violently attacked her on Wednesday night – but she kept the secret from both Adam and later Izzy.
Meanwhile Gary tried to say sorry to Jake by treating him to breakfast at Roy’s Rolls – but disaster soon struck when he realised he had lost his chain.
Desperately trying to find it in the cafe, Gary almost up-ended a table trying to find it before realising with horror he had lost it while burying Rick’s body in the woods.
And just like that, Gary offloaded his seldom-seen son on Shona and fled to find the necklace.
Viewers were just relieved to have spotted that Jake is alive and well in Weatherfield.
