Prince George joined the royal family for the annual Christmas Day walkabout yesterday, and one moment saw him step in to help Princess Charlotte.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a church service with their three children – George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
As the family stepped out, royal fans were quick to notice the same thing – their outfits were all matching.
Meanwhile, it was George who caught the attention of fans with a sweet gesture he made to Charlotte as they met with fans who had gathered.

The moment was shared on X by a royal fan. It showed George, Charlotte and Louis greeting fans who had gathered. Prince William and Kate were also seen talking to the crowd.
In one moment, a man reached out to shake hands with each of the children. However, little Charlotte had her hands full with gifts so was unable to shake his hand.

She was seen reaching out to get dad William’s attention to help her, but he was busy talking to another part of the crowd.
That’s when brother Prince George stepped in and subtly helped his sister.

As Charlotte reached out to William with a gift in her hand, George moved behind her and took the present out of her hand so she was then able to shake hands with the man.
