Travel chaos feared following snow and ice weather warnings

Slippery roads and pavements are a concern

Sub zero temperatures, snow and ice are set to cause severe travel disruption across the UK today, after overnight temperatures dropped to -7C in some areas.

The cold snap has resulted in transport chaos for many areas of the UK as motorists are warned to take care in treacherous conditions.
