Susanna Reid has defended her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Kevin Clifton amid rumours he’s dating Stacey Dooley.
During the the seventh series of the show, the Good Morning Britain presenter was partnered with Kevin and has remained good friends with him.
Shortly after competing, Susanna split from her husband and during today’s Loose Women, Susanna insisted her marriage didn’t end because of the so-called Strictly ‘curse’.

Speaking about the ‘curse’, Susanna said: “I call it the Strictly coincidence. Kevin and I got on like a house on fire and Strictly was not responsible for the break-up of my relationship.
“I’m still fantastic friends with my ex and I’m still really good friends with Kevin.”
Panellist Kaye Adams then asked Susanna: “Now it’s Stacey Dooley, who was his partner. How will Kevin feel about all these rumours because he is very much being identified as the guy who is always at the centre of the Strictly curse.”
Susanna replied: “Again, I would just say that’s a coincidence unfortunately.
“I think if you look at Strictly overall and everyone who has participated, the vast majority of people in relationships when they start Strictly end up in the same relationships.”
Kaye cut in: “But there is a few that have split up.”
Susanna replied: “But just like any workplace it’s normal. I met my ex through work.”
