Back in July, it was claimed that Ruth had been left “shocked” after learning that Eamonn had got close to a new woman.
It was then reported that Ruth was planning on a “revenge romance” of her own.
According to a source who spoke to The Mirror, pals of the 64-year-old reportedly had a “long list” of men they believe could make her happy.
“They feel she could easily have a revenge romance tomorrow if she needs to,” the source claimed.
“Dating feels like a terrifying other world to Ruth, but her pals have promised to hold her hand through the process once she’s ready,” they then added.
The source then added that Ruth is “excited about a romantic future”.
