Singer Robbie Williams has opened up in an emotional interview about his mental health, saying: “I’ve got a disease that wants to kill me.”

The star, who is currently Down Under on his The Heavy Entertainment Show tour, gave an in-depth interview to 60 Minutes Australia.

He said: “Left to my own devices, I’m inclined to sabotage everything. I’ve got a disease that wants to kill me and it’s in my head, so I have to guard against that.

“Sometimes it overwhelms me and sometimes it’s a tool I need to get on stage and do the job I do. And sometimes I live in bliss and it’s wonderful.
