Richard Hammond “knocked unconscious” while filming Grand Tour

The incident comes after the star's near-death experience in 288mph car collision 11 years ago

The Grand Tour star Richard Hammond was involved in a terrifying motorbike accident whilst filming for the TV series.

During their trip to a remote part of Africa the car enthusiast fell off the bike and hit his head.

It’s reported that the TV star fell unconscious and was miles from medical help.

Despite being “badly injured” Hammond has revealed he is “fine” after fans were worried for the star.

Writing on Drivetribe, a social media platform founded by Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson, Richard said: “Thanks for enquiries re my slight shunt whilst filming for GT.

“I can confirm that yes, I fell off a bike, many times, in fact and yes, I banged my head and everything else.

“But life goes on.”

Co-star Jeremy, who was at the scene, said: “He really did hurt himself quite badly.”
