A frustrated dad has been slammed online for asking if he’s in the wrong for wanting to divorce his wife over the birth of their second child.
Posting on Reddit, the user claimed to have realised he wasn’t cut out to be a father after his first child was born.
According to The Mirror, in the now-deleted post the man said he told his wife he “never wanted to have another kid”.
He wrote: “As our first got older I was looking forward to my wife and I being able to spend more time together without a kid around. I was also looking forward to being able to do more interesting things with our first born. Then, my wife got pregnant.”

He went on to explain that he and his wife went through their options and decided to have an abortion.
The day before it was due to happen, the woman changed her mind – and the post’s author said he still “resents” his wife for that decision two years on.
He added: “I find myself being annoyed by things she does that used to not bother me. I feel like I love our kids more than I love her.”
Understandably, many of his fellow Reddit users thought he was in the wrong.
One wrote: “Sex has consequences. If you don’t want to have babies, take precautions before you impregnate your wife!”
Echoing that line, another chimed in: “If you didn’t want another child you should have had a vasectomy. Instead, you wished to put your wife through the physical and mental pain of a termination and you’re upset because she didn’t want to?”
A third commented: “You’re acting like she tricked you into having a second kid. If you didn’t want kids then as a guy you should get a vasectomy cause you obviously can’t force the girl to abort.”
Others in the comments who didn’t side with the husband over the abortion issue still thought he should get a divorce if he wasn’t happy in his relationship.
