Police speak to Prince Philip for not wearing a seat belt

Norfolk police stepped in after seeing pics of the royal

Police confirmed they have warned Prince Philip after he was pictured not wearing a seat belt, just 48 hours after his car accident.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police have said they have spoken to the Duke of Edinburgh, adding that “suitable words of advice have been given to the driver”.

They said: “We are aware of the photograph. Suitable words of advice have been given to the driver and this is in line with our standard response when being made aware of, or receiving, such images.”
