Met Office issues warnings as torrential rain set to batter UK after 38C scorcher

Temperatures are expected to drop too

After Britain experienced the ‘hottest July day ever’ yesterday, it seems storms and heavy rain will be returning this weekend.

The Met Office has issued yellow rain warnings on Saturday (July 27) and Sunday (July 28) as flash flooding is likely.

Brits have been warned that homes and businesses could be flooded over the next two days.
