The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as Storm Miguel continues to batter Britain.
A “severe” yellow warning is in place across southern parts of the UK today as forecasters warn thunderstorms and heavy rain could cause some roads and homes to be flooded.
London, Cardiff, Bath, Oxford and Portsmouth are expected to be hit by the heaviest downpours.

Thunderstorms could give 20 mm of rain in just an hour, with some areas receiving as much as 30-40 mm in a few hours.
