The Met Office has extended its ‘danger to life’ weather warning as the UK braces for Storm Gareth.
The yellow warning for strong winds and heavy rain covers Wales, Northern Ireland, most of England and parts of western Scotland for 24 hours from Tuesday afternoon (March 12).
It’s been said winds could reach 80mph in Northern Ireland as Storm Gareth makes its way across Britain.
