The Wanted singer Max George has been dealt a fresh health blow, just weeks after being hospitalised following issues with his heart.

The star, 36, was fitted with a pacemaker in the lead up to Christmas and is now recovering at home.

Second operation on the cards for Max George after heart surgery

Midway through December, Max was rushed to hospital after suffering from issues with his heart. The star was left terrified by the ordeal, confessing that he thought he was going to die.

It was found that the star’s pulse was too low and, as a result, he required a pacemaker.

In the lead up to Christmas, the star was fitted with a pacemaker and is now recovering at his home in Manchester.

However, the star is now set for more surgery – with doctors needing to investigate enlarged lymph nodes in his lungs.

Doctors find enlarged lymph nodes in Max George’s lungs

Speaking to The Sun, Max confirmed he could be heading back to hospital soon.
