Taking to Instagram today, Lottie revealed to her 4.8 million followers that she had had to undergo emergency surgery whilst on a family holiday in Abu Dhabi.
In a video on her story, she said: “I felt quite ill on the way here on the plane with really bad stomach pains and then I started throwing up when I got here.
“And long story short, I went to the doctor and they put me on a drip, but it wasn’t helping with the pain, the stomach pains,” she then continued.
“They sent me to hospital when they discovered that I had appendicitis. I needed surgery straight away. So, last night I had surgery to remove my appendix and it all went well,” she then added.
Appendicitis is a swelling and infection in the appendix. If diagnosed with Appendicitis, surgery is needed immediately to prevent any life-threatening issues from happening.
