He became a doting dad a year ago to baby Bear with girlfriend Cheryl, and has been busy promoting his solo career since.
But singer Liam Payne has revealed fatherhood hasn’t inspired a song on his debut album – as it was produced before his son came into his life.
“He wasn’t born during the production of the album, so there’s not a song about Bear on it,” the 24-year-old told Front Row Japan.
Liam said he hasn’t ruled out doing a song about Bear in the future though, as long as it isn’t “cheesy” or “boring”.
“It’s difficult because Bear is the best thing I’ve ever experienced so it couldn’t be a boring song, it wouldn’t be something that was done easily,” he explained.
The former One Direction singer added that he’d be happy if he could produce something “cool” like Will Smith’s Just The Two Of Us inspired by his son Jayden.
