Kym Marsh has revealed her sadness at Coronation Street co-star Alan Halsall’s separation from wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.
Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Corrie, and his former co-star Lucy-Jo are divorcing after nine years of marriage.
Writing in her weekly OK! magazine column, Kym, 41, said she’d known about the break up for a while, adding it was naturally a “difficult time” for the pair.
She said: “Alan and Lucy-Jo are wonderful people and they’re brilliant parents to their daughter Sienna. It’s always sad when couples split, but I’m sure it’s all amicable and they’ve made the best decision for them.”

Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in Corrie, has just gone through a separation herself, recently splitting from boyfriend of three years Matt Baker.
Alan and Lucy-Jo, who are parents to four-year-old daughter Sienna, confirmed their break-up last week.
A statement released on Lucy-Jo’s behalf said: “I can confirm that Al and I are divorcing. We remain friends and devoted mummy and daddy to our daughter Sienna.
