Model and TV personality Kelly Brook has revealed how her lifestyle with husband Jeremy Parisi impacted her weight gain.
Kelly, 45, began dating fellow model Jeremy back in 2015. Five years later, Jeremy popped the big question and asked the former Big Breakfast host to marry her.
Agreeing to the proposal, Kelly and Jeremy tied the knot in an Italian wedding two years later in 2022.
Kelly Brook lifestyle ‘changed’ after meeting Jeremy
During an interview with the Daily Mail, Kelly revealed that her lifestyle has “changed a lot” since her early career.
“When I was modelling, I had a hectic, fast-paced lifestyle. I was travelling a lot, living out of a suitcase, barely slept at home in my own bed, always in a hotel and with that, you get really bad habits,” she said.
“You’re always jet-lagged and your eating habits are all over the place. For years I was very thin because I never used to eat much because I was always tired or anxious or just stressed and busy. Food was something that I never really thought about.”
Luckily for Kelly, her eating habits and lifestyle improved when she developed a passion for cooking after meeting Jeremy.
“It was actually when I met my husband who is Italian and French who loves to sit down for lunch and dinner, for him that’s the time when the family come together, it’s a very Mediterranean approach to food,” Kelly explained.
While Kelly enjoyed her new passion and relished in her relationship, she noticed that is when “the weight crept on”.
Kelly insisted she settled into a “content lifestyle in a very content relationship” while spending a lot more time at home. She declared it’s all about trying to enjoy those moments with him but also “know that I can’t eat as much as him”.
