They were delighted to welcome their first son last week and Helen Glover and Steve Backshall have now decided what to call their newborn.
Sharing his moniker with her Instagram followers, the proud mum wrote beside a black and white snap of her cradling their baby: “Finally decided on a name! Introducing Logan James David Backshall.”
Steve shared the same image as he revealed their choice to his followers.
Fans of the Olympic rower and her former Strictly star husband were keen to congratulate the couple on their new arrival and praise their choice of name.
“What lovely names, huge congratulations again to you both,” wrote one.
“Congratulations to you all, beautiful name,” said another.
“Yay!!! Hey Logan, what a wonderful little name!” added a third.
According to Bounty, Logan is an increasingly popular choice with new parents and it’s expected to be one of the highest climbers in the charts in 2018.
Previously Helen, 31, had joked that they were calling their son “Burrito” due to Steve’s talent for swaddling.
