Adam Peaty’s family have ‘lashed out’ at Gordon Ramsay amid the ongoing bitter family feud, according to reports.
A relative is said to have spoken out just 24 hours after Gordon broke his silence on the situation.
Yesterday, Gordon gave his take on the drama, which started when his daughter Holly, 26, and 31-year-old Adam excluded the Peaty family from their Big Day.
The Olympian and former Strictly star had told his dad Mark he was only allowed to watch from the rear of the church. He declined.
Adam then uninvited his mother Caroline from the wedding all together.
Celebrity chef Gordon described the situation as “upsetting”. But he insisted he and wife Tana had treated Caroline and Mark “like royalty” and had “done nothing wrong”.
Insiders of the Peaty clan, however, think otherwise.
Adam Peaty’s family ‘hits out’
In a new and scathing interview with The Sun, an unnamed relative of Adam’s has hit out at Gordon’s side of the story.
In a shocking blow, they said today: “We are outraged. Gordon is nothing but a big bully and we hate bullies.”
The relative also warned they had been “pushed too far”, adding: “The Ramsays did not treat Caroline like royalty at all – they treated her as though she was nothing.”
They went on to accuse Tana of “ignoring” any texts sent by Caroline. And they had even accused the Ramsay family of ‘deliberately’ causing drama to “publicise” the upcoming Netflix show, Being Gordon Ramsay.
