Gemma Collins has fans in hysterics over “daft” Brit awards outfit

The reality star said it was inspired by Lady Gaga

Whatever you think of Gemma Collins, the woman knows how to make an entrance.

The Dancing On Ice star attended the BRITs on Wednesday night, and wore an astonishing red dress, with a hat that fans called: “Daft!”

Gemma – who has her own clothing range – was at the show with Lorraine Kelly’s showbiz presenter Dan Wootton.

Sharing a shot with Dan, the recently-voted-off DOI contestant wrote: “Nothing more to say then ….. @brits ✌🏻what an honour it is to be here @danwootton my date for tonight ❤️.”

She then took to InstaStories to explain the thinking behind the red outfit.

The 38-year-old said: “I am just having my outfit made for the BRITs tonight. It’s all happening…

“So I’m so into Gaga right now. When I saw A Star Is Born, oh my God, I fell in love with her.”

She then asked the team: “Would you say I’m doing a bit of a Gaga tonight? GC inspired by Gaga.”

Showing the designer on his hands and knees cutting cloth, he could be heard commenting that the dress is: “Quite Chanel inspired.”

Later sharing a video from the car when she was “ten minutes away” she said: “I hope to see Hugh Jackman. I’m gonna ask him if we can tap dance together.”
