Stacey Fowler put her heart on the line with Martin in emotional scenes yesterday (Thursday 17 May) – but fans didn’t get the reunion they were hoping for.
Many wanted Martin to sweep Stacey up in his arms, declare his ongoing love and seal it with a smooch.
But they were left disappointed and exasperated!

The market stall traderhas been in the centre of a love triangleinvolving his ex-wives Stacey and Sonia, but appeared to make his final choice in Thursday’s scenes.
And many viewers believed he made the wrong decision…

After discovering that Sonia was keen for a reunion, Martin asked her out on a date. But then things were made more complicated when Stacey declared her feelings, too.
Emotions were obviously running high as it wastheir second wedding anniversary.
Martin’s estranged wife Stacey declared her love for him, saying:”I still love you. I never stopped. I just told myself that I had.”
And it looked like (for a few minutes, at least) the pair might reunite…

That is untilMartin discovered that Stacey and Hayley are related and had worked together to set him up to look like a “bad dad” a few short weeks ago.
Martin then seemed to make a big decision about his future when he cut ties with Stacey for good and joined Sonia on the date…
But Eastie fans weren’t happy with his decision…
One declared: “Martin & Stacey please.”
Another was convinced that: “We all know Martin and Stacey belong together.”
A third fumed: “So angry that they runied Martin and Stacey!!”
