Former Corrie actor Sean Ward admits addictions led him to contemplate taking his own life

The acting work wasn't there any more

Sean Ward has revealed he became addicted to drink, drugs and pornography after struggling to find acting work after his role in BBC Drama Our Girl.

The 30-year-old former Coronation Street actor admitted he hit rock bottom after being rejected from 50 auditions after filming of the army drama, which also starred Michelle Keegan, ended.

In the grip of addictions to booze, drugs and pornography his depression became so severe he thought he would be better off dead.
