Eamonn Holmes has revealed he was rushed to hospital today (Friday May 2), telling concerned fans: “Gosh it hurts.”
TV presenter Eamonn, 65, has endured a series of serious health struggles in recent years, particularly with regards to his mobility.
He underwent spinal surgery in 2022 for a slipped disc – and has made use of a wheelchair – as well as battling chronic pain.
Then, two weeks after his op, Eamonn fell down the stairs at home, leaving him with a broken shoulder.

However, the ex This Morning co-host’s trip to hospital today was not planned, it seems.
He shared a snap from inside an ambulance on Instagram, showing what appears to be his legs secured as he lay on a gurney.
“An unexpected journey this morning,” Eamonn explained in his caption.

“Bit of a fall on the bathroom floor. Gosh it hurts,” he continued before offering his gratitude to health workers who assisted him.
“Thank you ambulance crew,” Eamonn concluded his short message.
