The beauty of the internet is that if something goes awry in our lives, we can get help with a few taps of the keypad.
And Davina McCall has done exactly that, taking to Twitter to ask her followers for some urgent advice.
The former Big Brother presenter, 50, seemed worried last night as she sought opinions on a nasty rash that had materialised on her son’s leg, around the groin area.
But while she didn’t get a clear-cut diagnosis, the mum-of-three’s spirits were raised as her fans rushed to offer their support.
Davina has three children with her estranged husband Matthew Robertson, who she split from at the end of last year.
As well as two daughters, Holly, 16, and Tilly, 14, she has a son, Chester, 11, and it was her boy that she was concerned about.
Being a Sunday evening, her doctor’s surgery would’ve been closed, so she decided to rack the brains of her fans on social media.
Posting a picture of the stricken area, which had a big red mark on it, she wrote: “Hello Twitter. Is this [a] tick bite? On my son’s leg…”

There then followed a series of exchanges as her followers queued up to offer their suggestions.
