Alan Halsall has revealed he’s undergoing a second hair transplant.
The Coronation Street actor, 36, first underwent the procedure in 2016 after feeling self-conscious about his receding hairline.
Alan said he was thrilled with the results and will return to his surgeon on Tuesday (March 12) to have further work done.

Alongside a mirror selfie of his hair, Alan wrote: “Off for transplant no2 tomorrow can’t wait. Hope you’re on good form @bessamafarjo. (sic)”
He then asked his fans to ask him any questions they had.
When asked why he decided to tell his fans he’s undergoing the procedure again, Alan said: “Why not? Since I had my first a few years ago I’ve spoken with so many men who have confidence issues etc because of their hair, maybe this will let some of them know they have options and people have it done all the time.
“It’s not something to be ashamed of.”
When asked if the procedure hurts, Alan said: “From what I remember of my first… no. Some discomfort afterwards but that’s all.”
Another fan asked Alan why he doesn’t want to “go bald” as it would “suit” him, to which he replied: “Would it?? Thanks but I didn’t really want to and found a solution I’m much happier with.”
Over the past year, Alan has completely overhauled his look following his split from ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.
