Coronation Street viewers thought they had seen the last of Eva Price when she left the cobbles for France last night.
Tearful Eva decided to leave Weatherfield for a new life in France with baby Susie and Adam Barlow.
However she will return to the UK next week when she attends the inquest into ex Aidan Connor’s death.
Barmaid Eva left her sisters devastated when she secretly packed up and left for her new life, only telling them by letter.
“I wish there was an easier way to do this,” she said in her letter.

“I wish so many things were different. Me and Susie need to start a new life, we need to leave the past behind us and try to move forward somewhere else.
“I’m destroying too many lives if I stay, I’ve hurt too many people.
