Britain is braced for nine hours of severe thunderstorms and flooding today.
The Met Office issued yellow warnings across parts of the UK as the rain and storms are expected to last until this evening.
The alert is in place from 10am to 7pm, with 1.6 to 2.4 inches of rain predicted to fall in just two hours.
