BBC to launch ‘direct competitor’ to take on Channel 4’s Bake Off

It's going to be a baking battle royale

When the BBC lost the Great British Bake Off to Channel 4, they indicated that they had no plans of taking it on with a new show.

It seems that the baking gloves are now off though, as Auntie Beeb has changed its mind.

The Sun has reported that there have been discussions at the BBC to produce a ‘direct competitor’ to Paul Hollywood’s Bake Off on Channel 4.
