How Alison Hammond lost 13.5 stone

During an interview with Closer, Alison admitted she can remember being ā€œnearly 30 stoneā€ before losing weight.

She continued: ā€œI’ve got a personal trainer, she’s amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I’m working, I don’t train, I’ll go for a walk. But when I’m at home, I’ll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.ā€

I still struggle.

Since shedding the weight, Alison has noticed people have complimented her. However, when she’s asked to offer others advice, she admitted it feels ā€œdangerousā€ to do so.

ā€œIf anyone is struggling, go and speak to a doctor or someone who knows about diet. I’m the last person to get advice from, because I’ve struggled all my life. And I still struggle,ā€ Alison explained.

Alison’s diet

When it comes to Alison’s diet, she revealed she eats everything ā€œin moderationā€.

During an interview with The Times, Alison stated she gets up early, whether she has work or even if she’s had a late night the day before.

The 50-year-old begins her day with an immunity-boosting ginger shot, before enjoying a Full English breakfast, where she energises herself with eggs, bacon, and sausages.

When she’s in the studio working, Alison has Caribbean food for lunch, which includes rice, peas, and chicken. However, if she’s at home, she will cook a homemade lasagne.

ā€œIf I’m staying in, I’ll rustle up curried goat and rice or chicken fried rice,ā€ she revealed about her evening dinners.
