Most new parents struggle to sleep due to their baby’s needs in the night – needing a bottle, or just crying loudly and keeping everyone up.
However, Andy Murray and his wife Kim may be kept up for a different reason – thinking about the incredible tribute a local butcher has paid their new arrival.
John Hill’s butcher shop in Dunblane – Andy’s home town – created this baby out of sausage meat to welcome the baby girl.
John made a model of the baby out of Lorne sausage, with sausage links for arms and minced meat for a head.
And to complete the effect, put her in a foil “cot” with a napkin for a blanket.
Onlookers dubbed the creation “Sausage Baby” and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it.
One wrote: “Sausage baby is a nightmare scenario. I’m sure sir Andy is chuffed to bits.”
While another asked: “What’s the point of going to sleep if all I’ll dream about is the Dunblane sausage baby?”
